About Anita
Anita Jadhav is a young businesswoman running a small apparel store for the last three years. She is looking to widen her income by seeking a loan to purchase a much-needed sewing machine. Anita hopes to make use of her tailoring skills to sew quality garments that she can sell to her customers. In Solapur, most of the community were earlier dependent on agriculture as their primary livelihood. Anita is one among the many women that are being supported by our impact partner SSK, to create alternative sustainable livelihoods, given the impact of climate change on farming in the region. Anita’s hope is to pave the way forward for her family and ensure her children have a secure future. The apparel store expansion will enable her to create a new stream of income and better support her family. Support dextrous Anita as she welcomes a bright future.
