Gramheet is a social enterprise committed towards a 'farmers' first approach. Gramheet provides farmers with a bundle of services ranging from pre to post-harvest through collaboration with FPOs using a digital platform. The services offered include warehouse facilities, post-harvest credit, market linkages, access to farm inputs, input credit and value-added services at their village trade centres. It acts as a one-stop service centre for farmers where they can avail all the services at farm-gate. Gramheet aims to increase the farmer’ income while reducing their debt burden from informal sources. Currently, Gramheet is operating in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra (Central India) which is is considered to be the most distressed agricultural region has recorded the highest number of 'farmers' suicide in the country.
