About Leela

Leela has been farming for over thirty-five years. Throughout this journey, she has faced many ups and downs. With sheer perseverance and determination, she has overcome them all. Recently the Covid crisis has brought challenges that has put the farming community into a peril like never before. Leela lives in Jhabua, with a family of five and needs cash immediately to meet the needs of the upcoming sowing season. With the supply chains disrupted, she has not been able to sell her products at a fair price. To avoid distress selling of the crops, she is holding the crops at an FPO. The loan amount will help her with the much-needed cash flow to meet her input needs for the Kharif season and to tide through until things get better.
