The Goat Trust is a charitable trust that works to promote small livestock based businesses ( Goat/sheep/ Backyard birds rearing) by building support institutions and providing market linkages. Mandated as a research organization to provide handholding, training, financing and standardized marketing mechanism, The Goat Trust, works on development of pro poor small livestock farming systems, technologies and market development through collaboration and networking with various stakeholders. TGT also works as a platform to promote cross learning, accentuate action research to generate knowledge, experiences and make it available to a larger set of players within and outside India.
