Why don’t they just get funded via loans or government programs?
Rural Indian entrepreneurs struggle to get loans. They lack collateral, aren't aware of options, and face complex applications. Even if approved, high rates and tight schedules make it tough.
Can they be trusted with my money?
Each rural entrepreneur we list undergoes several checks for their financial situation and repayment ability. If they don’t pass, they’re simply not listed. However, as per RBI regulations, we cannot guarantee repayments & currently have a -- NPA.
Does Rang De make any money here?
Yes! We’re not an NGO, we’re an RBI-regulated P2P NBFC platform. We derive revenue from fees from our impact partners and take a small percentage of interest from the investments.
