Maitree Mahila Mandal Samiti Dooni works with small and marginal farmers from Rajasthan. The major source of income is agriculture and income through migration. The average landholding of farmers that the federation works with is about 1 acre while a few communities are also landless. As a result of lockdown, most of the community members have migrated back to the villages and the means of income is adversely affected. As a result, the cash flows of the community members are hit. These community members are looking for an alternative source of income by reviving their agricultural activities.
