For over 30 years, Shalan Gaikwad has been greatly contributing to her family's income through her farming business. She has been working relentlessly every day of the week for at least six hours. Her husband, Maruti works at a local company and her son, Narahari also has a job at a local company. Shalan's dream is to hand over her business to her son so he can continue serving the community. But, before she does so, she wants to ensure that her business is in good shape and will enable her son to make ends meet for his family. She is seeking credit to fund the installation of a pipeline for a drip irrigation system for her farm. This will help boost efficiency on her farm and help her grow her produce.
