About The Real Elephant Collective
A socio-environmental enterprise that aims to keep the elephant alive in people's minds and on the ground. TREC aims to create inspiring products that tell stories, and connect consumers back to the people and places where they are made. The flagship programme has been the global Coexistence Exhibitions. This involves the creation of over 500 life sized Lantana Elephant Sculptures, each based on a real wild elephant in the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve.
\n They are traveling around the world in high profile public exhibitions, carrying stories of Human-Elephant Coexistence, and calling on people everywhere to live well with nature around them.
\nThe sculptures are auctioned to raise money to support human-wildlife coexistence on the ground.
